Becca Hollis
Independent Education Consultant, Mindfulness Instructor growstillness@gmail.com
Becca Hollis has completed doctoral coursework in educational leadership and earned her Masters of Education and her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Kent State University. She obtained 200-hr yoga teaching certification in 2017 and brings over 20 years of mindfulness practice to her work. Becca teaches Mindfulness in Education at Kent State, and is owner and founder of Grow Stillness, where she provides professional learning for public and private educational institutions looking to bring mindfulness practice to their schools and classrooms.
Her mindfulness practice inspires her life and her poetry. Her first book, Notes From the Stillness, softly turns our attention to the beauty and joy that can be found in everyday life.
When she is not working to create mindful pathways to learning, her favorite places to be are in the woods, at the library, or thrifting. She lives with her loving husband, two extraordinary children, one gigantic and goofy dog, and a small but mighty gecko.
